American Contractors Organization provides videos in English and Spanish on construction safety related topics, such as asbestos awareness, back safety, personal protective equipment, and heat illness. The videos are available on ACO’s class website.
The goal of the videos is to provide quality safety training for minority-owned and emerging small businesses in the construction industry. We hope to inform viewers about ways to keep themselves and their employees safe on the job.
In addition to videos on specific safety-related topics, ACO offers certification classes in both English and Spanish. Certifications include HAZWOPER, hazard communication, CPR, and silica awareness.
Contractors are encouraged to invest in professional training for them and their employees. With more training, the quality of work improves, as well as employee engagement. Training opportunities are a great way to show appreciation for and support your team members.
